Milk Carton Kids

We’re going to ‘slow things’ a bit down today with the Milk Carton Kids who have, in my opinion, the closest thing to a Simon & Garfunkel sound that I have heard in quite some time. Their music is just astounding. They have some killer harmonies and I love the contrast of the strumming and picking styles of their americana/folk music.

Kenneth and Joey actually had attempted to have musical careers on their own and only after they met one another was MCK formed. And now they’ve been nominated for a Grammy! I was first introduced to the guys through the Tiny Desk Concert above and figured you would certainly appreciate being introduced to them in the same manner!
