Following some festering hubbub of a Billie Tiny Desk, my mind almost half blew it off cause I was like, Billie had done one already… hadn’t she? And it was awesome, wasn’t it?? So what’s the hubbub all about?
Ah. That’s right. Covid. Tiny Desk (Home) Concert time. Silly me. Even for a while there, I was paying silent homage to Bob Boilen and my zoom background was the desk. I think… maybe one person actually got it over a year period? Still made my week whenever that happened.
So, um, right – the old one was awesome. And you’re telling me SHE FINALLY RELEASED A NEW ONE OKAY I’M THERE AND I’M PUMPED NOW. Let’s have a pleasurable evening together just watching her crushing it.
THE GREATEST is still my favorite song from her latest album so I was THRILLED that she decided to honor it with the first song to live in infamy.
