So, this track below is … so perfectly unassuming… and then a week, or two, or three later you realize you are humming this lo-fi swagcore out-of tune little guitar intro lick again, and again, and again, and you’re realize this is a massively awesome song.
And then uh, you realize you are not alone. The rest of world already knows.
Can’t win them all I guess. Behind again Jay. So, I finally gave this guy his due and checked out his latest album ‘…is a folk artist, which just frankly rips. I absolutely love his tone, and I can’t say I’ve heard his version of this lo-fi, C&W, electronic tidbits, genre mess before. Its really quite good. I highly recommend it.
