This week, i learned that reddit/r/swancore exists and it made me very happy and I happily rabbitholed into a number of new bands. For those unaware… consider it a subgrenre of progressive post hardcore characterized by technical guitar work, upbeat tempos, and clean/high-pitched vocals – popularized by Will Swan, of Dance Gavin Dance fame… secret band, royal coda, sianvar and now has his own record label..
