One of my favorite hobbies is discovering dead bands that totally fit my vibe, are an immediate add to the music library, and then trying to figure out if members of the band went anywhere else or continued to make music under another name, only to release that the moment is gone, the band is dead, and I just get to enjoy what they’ve produced.
Well, happy to introduce you all to the dead The Strive out of Kansas City. Modern Pace, their one album is an awesome rocker… definitely for fans of Cartel, Mayday Parade, Ivoryline-ish..
I’ll have to explore down the rabbit hole of where these guys went a little later, but for now, I’m just enjoying the tunes.
And it always is fun to fun see sonicbids and some old interviews which really just brings me back to the internet of yore..
