Perhaps you’ve been sitting there in your cubicle/airport of travel frequency/on the john, or another place of work and you are sitting there wondering, what is BTM listening to these days? What new, kick-ass band has he discovered/found/inevitably-began-obsessing over as he consistently does..
That group, for those who are pondering, is the 1975. The song directly above and the song directly below are tracks which just get lodged in the brain and make you want to go back to the 80s and dance.
Simple riffs, smooth and rocking bass, fun lyrics about sex, love, girls, rock-n-roll, fantastic vocal melodies.. Ok ok, I’ll do another and the video is hilarious..
AND THEN I realized Chocolate had been on the radio here in the States for a while so had to find that video..
Which at this point I refilled my glass of bourbon and starting digging into the back catalog and found Sex.
What a fun, fun fun band. Hooray for Friday night finds!
