Paramore – Hard Times

Wow! Much departure! Such 80s/90s vibes! It’s different! It’s minimalist! But still Paramore!

I do like the sound, and the track very much fits some current trends in the industry. I’m calling it now – some future tour between the 1975 and Paramore. Anyway, I’m impressed by the sound. It’s clear Taylor has been influencing the group in his own indie-ish way and the group continues to break away from the pop-punk/rock music they rose to fame in. It’s also nice to see Zach (drummer) back in the group and making music with the band again. I’m really curious how ‘After Laughter’ will turn out when it drops on May 12. Paramore still continues to be one of my favorite bands and I’m excited to see continued maturation and new music from the group.
