Safetysuit

A band I have been following for quite a long time is SafetySuit. They first released some eps and smaller cds under the name Crew and once they were signed to Universal, they were asked to change their name to Safetysuit. Their most popular single ‘Stay’ is below:

It came out on their debut CD Life Left to Go CD back in 2007.. A few of my favorites from that CD also include Someone Like You, Annie, Anywhere But Here, Something I Said.. The list goes on and on. It’s a great rock CD. Nothing too outstandingly new and original – but a great listen to nonetheless. It’s always been worth the look back to listen.

Patiently I’ve been since the release of that CD to hear anything new from the group. About a month ago, that wait finally was no more as they released their second CD, These Times. The first few singles from that CD are below:

Although quite a bit more ‘pop’ than the original CD, it’s a still a welcome sign of some well-written music from a smaller known band. I’m excited to see where and how Safetysuit continues to grow.
