While the backlog of Jay’s ‘new discovery’ artists has been a little bit muted over the last few weeks, the band I’ve continued to find myself going back to time and time again has been Ben Quad – a really solid little 4-piece post emo rock outfit out of Oklahoma City. They really have a solid ability to blend midwest emo, and some pop punk and some screamo to make something different enough that itches my ears in a new way that’s worth sharing. … so… happy listening..
