John Splithoff – The Love Went Wrong
I was all excited to come back from an overseas trip and debut some new music from far off lands but the artist I have to share is a local, John Splithoff. The above video is my favorite track from his 2013 EP ‘The Move’ but each song is impressively awesome and mastered by Tom Coyne who is legit one of the best in the business.
His music reminds me a touch of Allen Stone, hints of James Blake, the prowess of Mark Rose and the musicality of someone as big as John Mayer..
It’s just awesome. The official EP of the month.. and I was just telling myself how I figured this would be a dead month for new music…
