I’m in love.

I introduce you to The Reign of Kindo which formed out of the disbandment of This Day & Age, another ex-favorite band of mine. The lead singer and guitar player went on a bit of a different path and created some great jazz/pop band that is absolutely excellent on the ears.
Jazz influencing, heavy piano (Vince Guaraldi, Gabe Dixon anyone?) solid bass lines, great drum beats, I haven’t found a song yet that I don’t enjoy from the group. The fact that the group (a 7 piece ensemble) are also on a record label that only has solo artists, really says something about the musicianship and tightness of the group.
Occasionally you find a band that simply doesn’t fit within any mold that you have experienced in your lifetime of listening to music and I really think I’ve found that with Reign. I’m excited to hear new music coming from them soon, but in the meantime, click here!
