..has started to grow on my radar for becoming a budding music scene. Following a conversation at work today, I really realized I need to highlight a few of my favorites coming out:
1) Tonight Alive (pop punk): An awesomely fun growing pop punk group has seriously caught my attention over the last two years. Their music is getting better and better and it’s fun to not have to rely on Haley for female-lead rock. This is a great song below
2) Sick Puppies (straight rock): Want fantastic quality of written music from a 3-piece group? Look no further than the Sick Puppies who are finally beginning to make a huge blast here in the States. Emma on the bass is legit and I love Shimon’s lyrics and music. Below is my favorite from their first CD
3) Dead Letter Circus (alternative prog rock): I love this group because it’s a much different sound than I have ever heard before. Definitely a prog rock feel, but a great vocalist with such different sounding guitars that to me, just sound..foreign..out there. Keeps me coming back. This is one of their earliest, strongest songs below:
