If 2026 had gone by, without me making a post about … probably(?… i’m calling it now), the biggest musical band that hit the interwebs in 2026, I’d be really ashamed in myself… so…allow me to introduce Angine de Poitrine from Quebec and the video that introduced me to them..
I really can’t say i’m like, a massive fan of this type of ..microtonal..math rock things? The band themselves actually describes it as ‘mantra-rock dada pythago-cubsite’ .. because.. of course they do. But it is a) certainly intriguing and b) musically just stupidly impressive (i’m pretty sure ‘Klek’ the guitarist actually built new ‘frets’ into his guitar to be able to get at new half steps that aren’t otherwise achievable on a standard instrument c) weird as hell. What a perfect combination for the internet to glob find itself into a feeding frenzy over ha. Maybe a bit more back story would help here..

and COME ON…. it has a Google Easter egg!? They are that big!?!? ha. of course. Do yourself a favor and go standard google and search the band name.
