CHEEM

Well, this band really caught me off guard this week. CHEEM. A HORRIBLE band name, but the music is actually pretty decent.

They call themselves nu-pop.. which.. i guess makes sense after listening? It’s got some elements of rock, some of pop, some linkin-park esque dj scratches, a vocalist who sounds like he could be the alter ego of Brandon Urie(of Panic at the Disco fame), like, some lucky boys confusion mixed …. a bunch of other artists…? They are all over the place but i do like it.

Overall man, I have to thank the Instagram algorithm for feeding me a video of Palette Knife (who also have a new album coming out, wahoo!) talking about their favorite ‘up and coming bands’. Cheem was top of list. I understand why. i hope you will too.
