Pvris – My House
I am super excited that Massachusetts based Paris.. a band which I’ve talked about before following their release of their self-titled EP has officially released their debut fell-length, White Noise.
About a year ago they had to change their name to pvris while citing legal reasons..however, the V still acts as an upside A and they continue to pronounce it “paris.” They’ve had some serious press over the last year from touring on Warped Tour and even being featured on The Huffington Post!
The album, IMHO, is a definite departure from the front-loaded rock that their first EP delivered and translates the group into a more mature, laid back, synth-dominated album. Don’t get me wrong, there are some great elements of rock and it’s excellent to see primary writers Lynn Gunnulfsen and Alex Babinski develop and continue to deliver music Mwhich still remains part of pvris’ core.
