Of all the music that’s grabbed me over the past few days… it’s been The Callous Daoboys who are … are… mathcore(?)/mathrock/modern metalcore/chaoscore – jesus, it’s hard to place them… out of Atlanta, Georgia. I’ll post two songs below and let you try and figure it out for yourself..
See? It’s weird. There is so much influence through these guys… Dillinger Escape Plan, Korn, Slipknot, Linkin Park… and then I hear Sugar Ray and other pop artists on some of these quieter moments.. It’s probably the most creative music I’ve heard in quite some time and I keep wanting to go back for more listens to make sure i’ve heard as much as I could have/needed to hear. Love this chaotic, angry ear candy. I’ll be listening to these for a while.. i hope you like them too.
