S. Carey just dropped a new single, Watercress.
….and I’m way too excited to learn he’s got an EP releasing soon. This guy has such a stupid special place in my heart as his track Morning Prayer from most recent trumpet-inspired album Shadowlands was my son’s musical sonic “going to bed” calling card for those first bleary months (maybe even the whole year). To this day, if there’s a midnight wake-up and he needs some help, his discography is still where I turn earbuds in, and the endless butt-patting till sleep suddenly feels a little less endless. So yeah, new S. Carey = instant joy.
