Sometimes I get mad at myself for not writing for so many years. There was so many cool discoveries of music/bands and things I fell in and out of love with… Julia Wolf being one of them. NOW was a track i was OBSESSED WITH.
And interestingly, it was Julia Michael’s new EP (which I was super excited about
and primarily delivered – one of the best lyricists in the game in my opinion and likely just had to so carefully rebound so carefully after Wish), which had me typing in the first name of Julia into Spotify and Julia wolf also popping up which made me think, OH yes – i really liked her last album…when was that 2022? … its been a while.. oh, sweet there is a new one… I’ll just pop it on after I finish the other Julia…
OH. HOLY SHIT THIS IS HARD. SHE’S PIVOTED. And it’s freakin epic?
Color me impressed Julia. I remember liking you, and this album just absolutely slaps. I hope you keep making music like this forever.
