Disturbed – Down with the Sickness

I got to enjoy the new Guitar Hero over the weekend…. have I ever mentioned that I was insanely good at the first few? I was a super cool college kid folks. GH I, II, III, Van Halen… I did ‘em all haha.

Anyway, the latest guitar hero had a funky new controller with only three buttons horizontally, but were doubled-up. It definitely felt more like playing a regular guitar but I still wanted to use my ring finger and pinky to hit some of those higher notes; felt more natural and was limiting to not have to use it. AGAIN ANYWAY, it just made me happy to get back to the game and enjoy it and hear some new (old) tunes. Playing ‘Down with the Sickness’ by Disturbed really reminded me how much I missed their ‘Believe’ album. That was back almost 15 years ago now and I re-visited it this morning. Still great stuff and I felt the need to post haha.
