GoGo Penguin – Hopopono
I will admit that I’m not the biggest jazz fan in the world. Not that I really don’t have a problem with it.. actually, I’ve even played the clarinet in a few jazz ensembles and truly learned to appreciate the talents of Benny Goodman and that style of music. Anyway, I only really meant that jazz doesn’t generally make it into my normal listening rotation of music genres and bands.
Well, GoGo Penguin has happily opened a whole new chapter and threw that door right open. The jazz UK trio has just recently released their third album and all three are completely wonderful. If more music exists in this world like this… please let me know who I am missing immediately.
