Some new rock finds courtesy of @mike this week. I got super into Meliorist’s entire discography and am very happy to add them to my ever-growing collection of super excellent Australian (this time from Brisbane – HELLO BLUEY AND THE HEELER FAMILY!!!!) rock bands.. (dead letter circus, polaris, like thieves, thornhill…just to name a few)
And then I happily learned about Dreamwake, which i’ll consider a cross of Dayseeker, some prog stuff and maybe (?) GUNSHIP due to the saxophone?? Man, I do like how people are continuing to get more and more creative in the metal scene.
But totally dug their entire debut album and will be happily be following these guys for as long as they continue to make music.
