One of the biggest metal finds this year whom I absolutely adore (outside of their name which while cutely derived from a classic children’s story in Sweden is insanely hard to pronounce) is the Swedish band, Karmanjakah – who really quite perfectly blend an atmospheric but progressive style of metal with strong djent undertones.. They’ve released an EP and now their second album, Diamond Morning dropped earlier this year, and frankly, have very little skips.
