Mammoth

After being told a few months back to listen to this ‘Mammoth’ guy – I finally found the right moment to get into him this week and MY WORD what a solid player whose metal/grunge/alternative/hard rock suits him and his vocal style SO well. 

This is Wolfgang Van Halen, son of Eddie Van Halen who’s who has been playing with his dad and various artists for a lot of years.. and just recently released his third album, ‘The End’ and it’s just, really, really solid and good. 

I’ll post a few favorite tracks below but I was equally impressed to learn that Wolfgang tracked every instrument, vocal and harmony across these three albums which its just an awesome feat and reminded me of a few other artists who had done the same… which.. is a post deserving in itself. So… more to come there.
