A friend recently sent me Kneecap’s song It’s Been Ages….

…and what started as “oh cool, this bangs” turned into a full-on rabbit hole of the political firestorm they’re caught up in.

So… ended up deep diving here for a while. Could maybe say i went.. knee-deep (pun probably intended) in think pieces and outrage threads?

Music is free expression. People should be able to make what they want. It’s frustrating to see them getting flak for just expressing themselves. Art’s supposed to provoke, right? Kneecap are doing exactly that — and doing it well.
