Stillwater – Fever Dog

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Almost Famous as a film. While that era of music is generally not in my general listening rotation, I certainly find the fake band of ‘Stillwater’ quite enjoyable to listen to. Now, there actually is a real band out there called Stillwater, but most of the Almost Famous band’s music was written by Cameron Crowe and his then-wife, Nancy Wilson from Heart.

When the movie was released back in 1999, Warner actually released a fake CD from the band which was included alongside the soundtrack. Definitely starting the week off right..
