This new post will be a two part series..

Last week I decided to head to my one of my favorite concert venues in Chicago to celebrate the release of Hidden Hospital’s new EP 002. The show was a blast and it was quite enjoyable to see so many concert-goers dressed up in Halloween spirits.
HH played fantastic. Although there were a few moments when the sound engineer couldn’t capture the fluctuating highs and lows of David, the band came out and played with a lot of energy, introduced some cool new sounds and made the most of their 30 minutes on stage.
Possibly my favorite moment was when Steve broke a string halfway through the 4th or 5th song and was able to pull out a new SG, change straps, completely re-tune it and just right in the perfect moment of Swan Dive when you really really really needed two guitars. Job well done and it was perfect. I don’t even think people recognized how difficult that was to pull off in the middle of the set.
Alright alright, I’ll stop talking about the set, but below is one of my favorites of their new EP. Enjoy!
